Addressing the Variations in Claim Transactions Format
Pre-conference Event |
Join WEDI at a special pre-conference session to address industry issues that
result from variation in the standard HIPAA transactions. Hear perspectives
from the hospital, pharmacy, clearinghouse, payer, and certification segments
of the industry. Discuss why transaction variations occur and what impacts
result from these variations. Provide your perspectives on what can be done
to mitigate the situation.
Although this session will focus on the claim transaction, the dialogue should
be applicable to most transactions. The goal of this interactive session will
be to develop a comprehensive understanding of the reasons for variation, the
impacts that this causes to each segment of the industry and to identify
potential steps to address these impacts. The feedback received at this
session will enable WEDI to prioritize efforts during the coming months to
maximize benefits to the industry.
